Well the Hughes boys are now officially six months old. They all received their 6 month shots yesterday that included a H1N1 shot and flu shot, which put each of them at 5 shots each. This is a total of 15 shots in one day. Thank goodness everyone survived without much fussing and slept well. All the boys are growing well and eating like horses. Their weights are as follows: Austin 14 lbs. 14 oz., Blake 16 lbs. 2 oz, and Carter 18 lbs. 2 oz. Needless to say the doctor is so happy with their progress that their original weights of 3 lbs each is a blur these days. We are so lucky that no one has had a cold or flu yet, so we are crossing our fingers that our luck continues.
Madyson just finished soccer this past week with another great season of friends and scoring goals. James did a great job of coaching the Purple Cheetahs. Looks like we will be getting ready for softball season to begin in the spring and Coach James will be returning again this year with a few more cheerleaders in the stands. It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week and we have so much to be thankful for these days. We would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday.
